PAUL CHAMBERS-WYNTON KELLY The Complete Vee Jay Paul Chambers-Wynton Kelly Sessions 1959-61 (Fantastic limited edition 2000 US mail order-only 74-track 6-CD box set, containing all of the recordings pianist Kelly and bassist Chambers did togetherunder their own leadership, as well as their sessions as sidemen. A variety of alternate takes and tracks that had previously been only available on Japanese imports abound, and as always, exceptional care and tremendous detail have gone intothe package. Producer Michael Cuscuna has beautifully transferred the material from the original tapes and masters, with top quality 24-bit mastering. The accompanying booklet includes excellent photographs and notes, and is presented in a stunning 12" square monochrome picture box)
