ALVIN STARDUST My Coo Ca Choo (1973 UK 7" vinyl single on the red Magnet label with the intact four prong centre, also including Pull Together. This was actually written, recorded & produced by PETER SHELLEY as the first release on his new Magnet label, housed in a Magnet company die-cut paper sleeve. Much to his surprise, he found himself having to find an 'Alvin Stardust' at short notice to perform on Top Of The Pops when the record became a big UK hit. Step forward Mr Shane Fenton,addone leather outfit & Alvin Stardust was born! MAG1)
