PENGUIN CAFE ORCHESTRA Penguin Cafe Orchestra (2008 Japanese limited edition 15-track CD album released as part of the 'Virgin Charisma' series, originally released in 1981, presented in a mini-LP style replica card picture sleeve, complete with fold-out Japanese/English text lyricsheet & obi-strip. This was the second album from the collective led by Simon Jeffes' who successfully merged a disparate selection of world music with discreet western influences, and in doing so created a sound world all of their own, in recent yearsmuchj of their music has been used in films and advertising - so you may recognise more of it than you think. This copy is in superb 'as new' condition VJCP-68884)
