THE BYRDS The Notorious Byrd Brothers (1968 US mono 11-track vinyl LP on the 'two eyes' Columbia label, pasted picture sleeve. Classic fifth album from the band, and the first without David Crosby (he's represented by the horse on the cover apparently!). Includes the killer speed-freak anthem that is Artifical Energy, the 'Easy Rider' fave 'Wasn't Born To Follow' and their superb take on Goffin & King's 'goin' Back'. The sleeve shows a little wear but nothing too excessive while the vinyl is superb and apart from the odd light blemish shows very little signs of its 47 years
