VARIOUS 2-TONE 2-Tone Test Label (Very rare prototype 2-Tone label design which uses the 1979 UK I Got To Find My Baby 7" vinyl single by Geraint Watkins as its template. This unique item was used by Chrysalis Records to test out potential label designs for the legendary British label, the A-side is a standard late '70s injection moulded Vertigo label wheras the B-side features an embryonic injection moulded 2-Tone design, although it shares similarities with later period 2-Tone singles, having the 2-Tone logo at 12 O'clock with black & white checks running either side, these are larger than the finished design and are markedly different. We've never had one of these before and was obtained from a former Chrysalis excecutive so its provenence is assured - definitely one for the 2-Tone collector!)
