GABOR SZABO Jazz Raga (1967 US 11-track stereo LP, on the black red rim label with multicolour boxed Impulse logo & 'Van Gelder' machine stamped in the run-outs. Features the guitarist overdubbing sitar parts to create a wonderfully exotic album of Oriental jazz, with the originals Mizrab, Search For Nirvana, Krishna & Ravi, plus trance-like versions of Paint It Black & Caravan, all starring Bernard 'Pretty' Purdie on drums. The heavyweight gatefold sleeve is pasted, front laminated & complete with the catalogue inner. The cover shows few signs of its age [light sticker residue mark on the back] & the vinyl is Excellent with minimal sign of play. Sublime! CSD3614)
