39 LYON STREET/ THE ASSOCIATES Kites/ A Girl Named Property (1981 UK 7" EP, a one-off project created by The Associates. The group used an alternative name to excercise a clause in their contract with WEA that stated they could record for anylabel they desired, so long as the A-side was not credited to The Associates. On "Kites", Billy Mackenzie sang backing vocals, with friend Christine Beveridge on main vocal. The picture sleeve shows minimal wear & the vinyl still looks barelyplayed RSO76)
