The Autobiography

MILES DAVIS The Autobiography (1989 US 432-page hardback book by Miles Davis with Quincy Troupe. Universally acclaimed as a musical genius, Miles is one of the most important musicians in the world. This autobiography holds nothing back, he speaks openly about his drug problem and how he overcame it. He condemns the racism he has encountered and discusses the women in his life, but above all, he talks about the music and musicians he has played with over many years, including the legends Bird, Dizzy, Monk, Trane, Mingus and many others. Includes 32-pages of black & white photographs plus picture dust jacket. The dust jacket has some minor storage wear, but the inner pages are near as new)
