MILES DAVIS The Complete Plugged Nickel Sessions (Rare Limited Edition 1995 US Mosaic audiophile 39-track 10-LP box set, comprising recordings of seven performance sets over two historic nights by the second great Davis quintet at the now-defunct Plugged Nickel nightclub in Chicago on December 22 & 23, 1965. Note, the entire full recordings were not released until the appearance of this now long out of print set. Also stars Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter & Tony Williams.Comes housed in a beautifully presented textured monochrome 12" box with front pasted picture cover & 12-page LP sized booklet, featuring stunning black & white session photographs & extensive liner notes, hand numbered out of 5000 & in stunning condition. The box shows very little of its age & all vinyl discs are near 'as new'. Recommended)
