BEIRUT Gallipoli (2019 UK Limited 'Indie Exclusive' Edition 12-track LP pressed on Green Vinyl - With album sessions being finished in Puglia [Italy] after Zach broke his arm, Gallipoli [having been inspired by the surroundings] is unintentionally more visceral than their more recent albums, alive with an energy that is further enhanced by every creak and groan of their instruments, every detuned note and all amp buzz and technical malfunction being left in the cracks of the songs, including the singles Corfu and the title track.
