MORRICONE Controfase (Limited Edition 2015 Australian official 8-track remastered LP pressed on 180gram Vinyl, one of the Morricone "holy grails" previously released as a 1973 library-only disc on the tiny Gemelli label in Italy, remastered in full dynamic range direct from the first generation master tapes & overseen by the great Alvin Lucier. The record is packed with jaw-dropping cinematic sounds, avant-garde dramatics & analogue synthesis courtesy of VCS3 electronics wiz Walter Branchi, Ennio's Gruppo Di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza & vocalist Edda Dell’Orso. Comes housed in a deluxe tip-on picture sleeve complete with Alvin Lucier essay inner & 'obi-strip'. The packaging is Near Mint & the heavyweight vinyl is Excellent with merely the lightest evidence of play ROMA105LP)
