NORMAN GRANZ' JAZZ AT THE PHILHARMONIC New Volume One (1956 UK 4-track mono LP on the Columbia 'trumpeter' label in the Clef series, recorded at the Philharmonic Auditorium, LA on January 28, 1946 & at the Syria Mosque Auditorium, Pittsburgh on March 5, 1947, starring Charlie Parker & Willie Smith [alto], Coleman Hawkins & Flip Phillips [tenor], Buck Clayton [trumpet], Trummy Young [trombone], Kenny Kersey [piano], Benny Fonville [bass] & Buddy Rich [drums]. Comes housed in a fullylaminated picture sleeve with scalloped flipbacks. The sleeve is nice & clean & in Excellent condition with just a little minor ring wear, the vinyl too remains Excellent with very little sign of play 33CX10032)
