ASHFORD & SIMPSON Love Don't Make It Right (Rare 1980 UK-only 12" single, backed with the swelling, deep-disco orchestral instrumental 'Bourgie Bourgie' [6:05] which was a MONSTER Larry Levan spin at the Paradise Garage in '79, sending the crowd into ecstasy, superbly penned by Nick Ashford & Valerie Simpson. Note: this is the correct speed version of the b-side with B2 etched matrix in the run-out. The b-side does NOT speed up, unlike many pressings which had a mastering fault. Housed in the original die-cut company sleeve, the sleeve is near mint & the vinyl is stunning near 'as new'. There are very few copies left in circulation that are near mint & don't have a speed issue... nice! K17679(T))
