THE JIMI ENTLEY SOUND Apache (Limited Edition 2002 UK first press wide centred 7" single on Black Vinyl, with the labels designed to appear like a test pressing. The Jimi Entley Sound was Geoff Barrow & Adrian Utley from Portishead. They recorded two songs when they went to Australia to work on the third Portishead album - the A-side is a superb cover of 'Apache' by The Shadows [later sampled by J Dilla] backed with 'Charlies Theme', a version of the main title theme to the British zombie biker flick, Psychomania. Housed in a textured die-cut picture sleeve, the vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition with just a few faint paper hairlines not affecting play. A superb psych-funk/breaks gem! ESP001)
