JOHNNIE TAYLOR Wanted One Soul Singer (Debut 1967 UK first press 11-track mono LP by Memphis' Philosopher of Soul, on the pale blue Stax label. Includes the belting 'Just The One I've Been Looking For' [recently doing the rounds on a UK advert] &'Ain't That Loving You', later covered by Alton Ellis & The Soul Bros to become a foundation rhythm of Jamiacan music. The front laminated picture sleeve is Excellent with only faint ageing, including a little mild discolouring on the back -the vinyl is nice & clean & in Excellent condition with merely the very lightest evidence of play. Recommended)
