THAD JONES Detroit-New York Junction (Sealed Limited Edition 2006 US exclusive issue of the 1956 US 5-track MONO LP, pressed on 200gram Quiex Super Vinyl, a fantastic Blue Note session from March 1956, setting the standard for Hard Bopthat year & performed with Billy Mitchell, Kenny Burrell, Tommy Flanagan, Oscar Peterson & Shadow Wilson, cut by Bernie Grundman on Classic's 'all-tube' cutting system for a Super Vinyl audiophile profile. Comes housed in a deluxe pasted picture sleeve, still in the unopened tearbag with the hype sticker attached. The vinyl is Mint & unplayed BN1513)
