England V Australia Test Match (23rd August 1938)

CRICKET England V Australia Test Match (23rd August 1938) (Fabulous one-off one-sided IBC Studio 10" acetate recording featuring approximately 8-minutes of spoken word commentary from that momentous day in 1938 when 22-year-old Leonard Huttonmade cricketing history surpassing Donald Bradman's record score, achieving 364 runs at The Oval. The first two tracks feature commentary from that very moment in the game, and the two subsequent tracks feature Hutton speaking about his achievement. The acetate has a type-written studio label, with an additional hand-annotated inscription that reads, 'To Deadly From The Master, Vancouver 1973'. The disc plays fine, with some audible crackle and pops, but nonetheless is utterly delightful!)
