STEPPENWOLF Steppenwolf (1970s UK Stateside orange label issue of the debut 1968 11-track stereo LP, featuring the classic, Born To Be Wild, which coined the name for an entire genre with the line "heavy metal thunder". Other highlights include a heavy version of Hootchie Kootchie Man & a pounding tour-de-force cover of Hoyt Axton's anti-drug, 'The Pusher', housed in a front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve displays only light wear with clean non-laminated back with intact & secure flipbacks. The labels are both clean with little signs of spindle marks, the the vinyl is Excellent due to some marks from being stored in a polly lined sleeve but has little sign of play SSL5020)
