DONNIE & JOE EMERSON Dreamin' Wild (Super rare original 1979 private press US 8-track vinyl LP - This sole album from the Washington brothers was a 'vanity project' like no other - their parents built them a recording studio, 300 capacity stage, self-financed the record and even dressed them in 'Osmonds' style jump suits - now that's dedication for you! Sadly, the record didn't sell and remained forgotten until discovered by record collector Jack Fleischer in 2008 -unusually, it's a really strong album of self-penned originals that veers between power pop, yacht rock and funk. Cult US artist Ariel Pink covered 'Baby' and top reissue Light In The Attic has reissued the album several times. Amazingly, this original copy has remained sealed in its picture sleeve since release [forty-six years!]. Pressed in tiny quantities and distributed only in the Washington State area - how a copy found its way to the UK we'll never know. Highly recommended EC101)
