GETZ / GILBERTO Getz / Gilberto (2011 US issue of the iconic 1964 8-track album, released in the Super Audio CD / Hybrid format – fully compatible with standard CD players while offering enhanced audio fidelity for SACD-compatible systems. A landmark in jazz and bossa nova history, this collaboration between saxophonist Stan Getz, guitarist and vocalist João Gilberto, and composer Antonio Carlos Jobim features timeless classics such as The Girl From Ipanema and Corcovado, and marked the international breakthrough of Astrud Gilberto. Housed in a clear Super Jewel Box case with the original SACD series hype-sticker affixed to the front, complete with a 12-page picture/credits booklet.
