TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND & LEON RUSSELL Mad Dogs &
Englishmen Revisited Live At Lockn' (2025 UK/EU limited
edition 14-track double album 2-LP pressed on 180-gram
black vinyl. In 2015, the Tedeschi Trucks Band
joined forces with Leon Russell to revive one of
rock's most legendary live events: Mad Dogs &
Englishmen. Originally staged by Joe Cocker and Leon
Russell in 1970, the sprawling, soulful tour was celebrated for
its communal spirit, massive band, and unforgettable
performances. Recorded live at the Lockn' Festival, Mad
Dogs & Englishmen Revisited captures the Tedeschi
Trucks Band's 12-piece ensemble alongside Leon Russell and
an all-star lineup. Guests include original members Rita
Coolidge, Claudia Lennear, and Chris Stainton, plus
contemporary collaborators Chris Robinson (The Black
Crowes), Warren Haynes, Anders Osborne, Dave Mason, and
Doyle Bramhall II. At times swelling to more than 20
musicians on stage, the performance channels the joyful
excess and raw energy of the original, while infusing it with
TTB's own soulful depth. The set features classics such as
"The Letter," "Delta Lady," "Cry Me A River," and "With A
Little Help From My Friends," with Susan Tedeschi's
powerhouse vocals and Derek Trucks' signature slide guitar
anchoring a show that is both reverent and revitalised.
Gatefold picture sleeve with hype sticker, factory sealed.
