BAD NEWS Bad News (1987 US 10-track vinyl LP, produced by none other than Brian May of Queen! This brilliantly tongue-in-cheek heavy metal parody features the comic talents of Adrian Edmondson, Rik Mayall, Nigel Planer and Peter Richardson —stars of The Young Ones and Comic Strip Presents. Includes the mock-heroic singles Bohemian Rhapsody and Bad News, along with gloriously chaotic renditions of rock excess at its finest. The gatefold picture sleeve features suitably overblown artwork, complete with illustrated lyric inner. Both sleeve and vinyl carry minimal signs of wear/play. A cult comedy-metal gem that still rocks harder (and funnier) than most of the real thing! R170931)
