Legend has it that Blue Horizon label owner Mike Vernon spotted Bacon Fat playing in a tiny US club and was so impressed he promptly signed them. It's premier level blues-rock full of superb harmonica and guitar duels from a band that featured legendary harmonica player George Smith (who'd played with Otis Rush, Muddy Waters), Rod Piazza (Dirty Blues Band) and pianist J.D. Nicholson.
