BILLIE DAVIS Billie Davis (Rare 1970 UK 12-track STEREO vinyl
LP on the boxed blue Decca label, a real belter, full of Mod &
Northern Soul dancers, includes a brassed-up version of Jethro
Tull's Living In The Past, a soulful take on The Moody Blues'
Nights In White Satin, as well as great original foot-tappers such
as I'm In Love With You; with backing from Herbie Flowers, Alan
Parker, Barry Morgan and arrangements by Mike Vickers, you
know you are in safe hands, front laminated picture sleeve with
die-cut hole & blue-for-stereo inner. The front of the sleeve has
a little laminate lift and minor creasing; the back of the sleeve
shows some light discolouration, but all in all remains in excellent
condition with no seam splits. The labels show a little spindle
wear and the vinyl has a few light surface scuffs, but too remains
in excellent condition. A top copy of this real hidden gem

BILLIE DAVIS Billie Davis (Rare 1970 UK 12-track MONO vinyl LP on
the boxed red Decca label, a real belter, full of Mod & Northern Soul
dancers, includes a brassed-up version of Jethro Tull's Living In The
Past, a soulful take on The Moody Blues' Nights In White Satin, as well
as great original foot-tappers such as I'm In Love With You; with
backing from Herbie Flowers, Alan Parker, Barry Morgan and
arrangements by Mike Vickers, you know you are in safe hands, front
laminated picture sleeve with die-cut hole & red-for-mono inner. The
sleeve shows light discolouration to the reverse with a small catalogue
annotation and a very small tear to the opening, but all in all remains in
fantastic condition with no seam splits. The vinyl is graded as Excellent
& appears to have had minimal play; there are some marks to the side
2 label, possibly caused by a pencil [!?] and no spindle wear visible to
the side 1 lable; the vinyl itself appears barely played and playback
sounds fantastic with meaty bass & punchy brass. A real hidden gem!
