BLACK RANDY & THE METROSQUAD Pass The Dust, I Think I'm
Bowie (2009 US exclusive limited edition 24-track 2-LP set;
Black Randy was an essential part of the early punk scene in LA in the
late 70s, combining the requisite nihilism and disdain with biting satire,
provocative deliberately offensive lyrics and an attendant debauched
lifestyle, while The Metrosquad churned out a perverse punked up,
souled out backing! Between December 1977 and July 1979, they
released 3 singles and this, their only longplayer, for the legendary
Dangerhouse label, now expanded to include non-LP single sides,
demos, live material and a taped phone call! Presented in sealed
gatefold sleeve with new liners from Dangerhouse honcho Pat Garrett
and previously unpublished photos!)

BLACK RANDY & THE METROSQUAD Pass The Dust, I Think I'm Bowie
(Original 1979 US 13-track LP on the legendary Dangerhouse label, the
only long player from this bizarre late seventies LA six-piece that mixed
up punk, gross-out humour with a hefty side measure of surrealism.
The picture sleeve comes complete with the lyric inner & has no
deletion cuts, just the odd small sticker mark in the corner. The vinyl is
nice & clean & plays Excellent, despite some faint paper hairline scuffs
not affecting the sound. A must! PCP-725)

BLACK RANDY Pass The Dust, I Think I'm Bowie (1979 US 13-track
vinyl LP, picture sleeve with lyric inner. The only long player from this
bizarre late '70s LA six-piece that mixed up punk, gross-out humour
with a hefty side measure of surrealism. The sleeve does show a fair
amount of foxing and general wear but remains fully intact with all text
clearly legible, the vinyl too has some scuffs/hairlines but playtesting
reveals no great loss in sound quality - now's your chance to grab a
legendary slice of LA punk at a great price! PCP-725)
