BLIND BOY GRUNT Dick Farina & Eric Von Schmidt (Very rare 1963
UK only 17-track mono LP recorded at Dobell's Jazz Record Shop in
London on 14th & 15th January that year. This record has since
become legendary for the involvement of 'Blind Boy Grunt' on four of
the tracks - Glory Glory, Overseas Stomp, Xmas Island & Cocaine.
The album was a release by Dick Fariña with Eric Von Schmidt & Ethan
Signer but 'Blind Boy' performed backing vocals & harmonica on those
four tracks. A relative unknown at the time, on his first visit to the UK,
he was even listed on the label copy sheets for the sessions as Bob
Diglan. This copy is in pristine near mint condition, both sleeve & vinyl
