HAROLD LAND QUINTET The Fox (Rare 1960 UK 6-track deep
groove mono LP, a top quality Bop date in a Sonny Rollins-like
mould, with backing from the mysterious & greatly
under-recorded, Dupree Bolton, plus Elmo Hope on Piano, Herbie
Lewis on Bass & Frank Butler on Drums, beautiful fully laminated
flipback sleeve. The cover [VG+] has been historically tape
reinforced along the bottom flipback & side opening, common
practice for Jazz jackets of this vintage; the sleeve is nice & clean
& would otherwise grade Excellent. The vinyl has a deep sheen
both sides & grades Excellent with only very minor evidence of
play. A recommended West Coast gem! LAE12269)
