JEFFERSON STARSHIP Soiled Dove (2009 UK Region 0 NTSC DVD - Jefferson Starship evolved from the 60s/70s band Jefferson Airplane, with the initial line up consisting of former Airplane members Paul Kantner, Grace Slick, John Barbata, David Frieberg and Marty Balin. The band went on through the seventies and into the eighties to have massive mainstream success both with albums and also live performances. Over the years however many members have come and gone leaving only Paul Kantner remaining from the initial line up and even Paul Kantner left the band for a short period during the eighties. 'Live At The Soiled Dove' was filmed in 2003 and features the then current line up of Jefferson Starship which was Paul Kantner alongside guitarist Slick Aguilar, vocalist Diana Mngano and keyboardist and bassist Chris Smith.
