JOHN LENNON Interview With John Lennon By Bob Mercer
(Rated as the #43 rarest record in the world by Record
Collector magazine in their December 2010 issue, this 1974
UK white title label promotional vinyl 7" was issued to
promote the releaseof the single 'Whatever Gets You Thru
The Night', which features on the B-Side. Pressed in very
limited numbers, the interview with John by Sales Executive
Bob Mercer includes a special message to the salesforce as it
was intended as a motivational tool to encourage the EMI
salesforce to sell, sell, sell! The labels have the four-prong
centre intact & there is a little mild spindle wear by the centre
hole to show play. The matrix numbers are machine stamped
in the run-outs & the vinyl grades VG+ with just a couple of
minor paper hairline scratches not affecting play. As good as
it gets & impossible to find! PSR369)
