LINDSAY COOPER Rags (1983 UK audiophile second issue of the 18-track LP, pressed by Nimbus, also featuring Fred Frith, Chris Cutler, Sally Potter, Georgie Born & Phil Minton. This album features music based on the score of the film 'The Song Of The Shirt', about needlewomen in sweatshops in the 1830s & 1840s & is complete with a sixteen page illustrated booklet explaining the use of the themes on the album, their context and the lyrics to all vocal performances. A seriously tough album to find, this copy shows just a little corner creasing to the bottom left and is otherwise near 'as new' along with the vinyl. A buried treasure resurfaces. Enjoy!) more...
