MARIANNE FAITHFULL Come My Way (2007 issue UK 18-track
digitally remastered CD album - In a classic spin by her manager
Andrew Loog Oldham, Marianne's first 2 albums were released on the
same day in April 1965; while 'Marianne Faithfull' was fullof the kind
of fragile, baroque orch-pop with which she'd become successful,
'Come My Way' was a pure folk album with shades of children's songs
and a sense of the avant garde; this edition of 'Come My Way'
features 4 Bonus Recordings:'Blowin' In The Wind', 'Et Maintenant', 'That's Right Baby' and her banned 1969 signature tune 'Sister Morphine')

LP issue of her 1965 album now pressed on 180gram

unexpected folk tunes which gives listeners a fleeting glimpse of

to the Rolling Stones version] and three rare B-sides. Complete
with the illustrated Russian / lyric inner, the glossy picture sleeve

MARIANNE FAITHFULL Come My Way (Very Rare 1965 UK first press
14-track mono LP on the deep groove red unboxed Decca label,
housed in a front laminated picture sleeve with a stunning Gered
Mankowitz photography. The previous owner has written their name on
one of the labels. Side One has some minor surface marks where the
vinyl has reacted with the poly lined bag and has left a mottled effect
over the whole side, however this is mostly cosmetic and plays through
with just the odd light click, whilst side two remains very clean with just
a few light marks again from the poly inner. The sleeve remains
fantastic, with minimal wear and just light laminate lift along the
spine.Although not mint, still a nice example and offered at an
advantageous price LK4688)
