Sound Stereo' vinyl LP, pressed by Nippon Columbia & housed in
a unique gatefold silk laminated sleeve complete with
Columbia catalogue inner & rare '360' obi-strip. This wasa classic
from Miles' second great Quintet years, starring the formidable
talents of Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter & Tony
Williams, still sounding unbeatable to this day. The sleeve shows
little of its age, the obi has a small amountof damage on the
back but is complete, whilst the vinyl shows only a few light

MILES DAVIS WITH HORNS Early Miles (Rare 1961 8-track deep
groove mono LP on Esquire with 'RVG' etched in the run-outs,
featuring a youthful Miles' first session for Prestige on 17th
January 1951, also the first time he & Sonny Rollins played
together, alongside a 1953 session with Al Cohn, Zoot Sims &
Kenny Clarke, amongst others, playing Cohn's compositions.
Comes housed in a unique front laminated flipback picture sleeve
for the British market. This is a nice one owner example. The
sleeve [VG+] has no writing, the flipbacks are secure & the print
is strong & vivid both sides. There is the odd small spot of foxing
& this example has a couple of scuff marks & chips in the
laminate's top edge. The heavyweight vinyl is in lovely Excellent
condition with barely any play)

Consisting of tracks from Davis and his legendary jazz quintet,
recorded in 1956 with Rudy Van Gelder’s expert engineering. The
discs are in individual CD cases with booklets and all housed within a
clamshell style fabric covered outer box, with title sticker on the front
and track listing sticker on the reverse. The box shows just a few faint
scuffs and a little creasing on the interior spine. The discs shows little
