PACIFIC DRIFT Feelin' Fine (2009 issue UK 15-track digitally
remastered CD album - Although 'Feelin Free' was released to
widespread indifference back in January 1970, the sole album by
Manchester band Pacific Drift remains a sparkling, West
Coast-influenced amalgam of post-psychedelic pop and early
progressive rock, skilfully weaving wistful laments and riff-laden
rockers into a fully cohesive whole. This collection is the first to
assemble all known Pacific Drift recordings under one roof, and is
unquestionably the definitive anthology of an unfairly neglected band.
Including the 4 Bonus Recordings: 'Yes You Do', 'Were On
Our Way', 'Dont Turn Away' and their cover version of Spirit's 'Water
Woman'. Comes complete with a picture booklet containing superb
previously unpublished photos and new band quotes)

PACIFIC DRIFT Feelin' Free (Original 1970 US Deram label 12-track
STEREO vinyl label featuring a different track listing to the UK issue
with Going Slow and God Has Given Me replaced by Yes You Do,
We're On Our Way and Don't Turn Away, housed ina pasted colour
picture sleeve. The sleeve has some [fairly unobtrusive] pen marks
on the reverse and shows some light shelfwear, but is in otherwise
excellent condition; the vinyl looks unplayed, retaining a glorious
shine nearly 40 years on!DES18040)

issue 11-track stereo vinyl LP on the red & silver Deram Nova series
label, a sparkling, West Coast-influenced amalgam of post-psychedelic
pop & early progressive rock with ties to Wimple Winch & Blodwyn Pig,
front laminated picture sleeve with pinched spine & stereo/mono hole
indicator on the reverse. The blue-for-stereo inner features a lovely
set of rare press clippings attached! This is a remarkable copy
comingfrom an archive collection of late sixties, early seventies
rarities. The sleeve shows only the lightest signs of its age & the vinyl
looks barely touched SDN13)
