Rita was a nightclub singer from Akron, Ohio & regular performer at Hollywood's Exotica Club & Lakewood Boulevard's Polynesian-themed Tahitian Village Restaurant Bar. The album recreates her knack for cocktail-lounge but also includes random birdsong, tiger growls, ringing pianos & wheezy organ grooves!
