some real spice & flavour added by Jamaican drummer, Noel
McGhie, supposedly with the burning music partly a reaction to

the Studios Grande Armee in Paris on October 15 1977. The album
ends on a very experimental track called 'The Wire' [which gave name
to a certain experimental music rag in London that is still in print to
this day], with Masa Kwate on traditional Japanese percussion. Note,
this record received the Grand Prix De L'Académie Du Jazz prize in
1980 & is stickered to this effect on the front of the picture sleeve,
