THE ANIMALS Animalisms (Very rare original 1966 UK 12-track MONO LP on the red 'unboxed' Decca logo label, front laminated flipback picture sleeve with pinched spine, including the original poly-lined company inner. This beautiful one owner copy has been carefully stored away for almost sixty years! The sleeve shows barely any discernible wear, remarkable given the unforgiving stark white background, with secure flipbacks, intact edges and the spine perfectly retaining its shape. The vinyl has only a couple of very, very light surface marks but shows very little signs of play, the labels have just a couple of light spindle marks to show it has seen a turntable. THE ANIMALS Animalisms (Rare 1966 South African 12-track MONO vinyl LP on the blue 'unboxed' Decca logo label, front laminated flipback picture sleeve with pinched spine, printed with 'Operation Eavesdrop' in blue and 'Record Pac' in the bottom right corner. The sleeve shows only light wear with some laminate lift along the spine & light creases to the laminate, the non-laminated back shows light wear with only a little foxing and intact flipbacks. The labels has just a few light spindle marks but are otherwise clean, whilst the vinyl remains excellent with only a few very light surface scuffs. We have conservatively graded this copy 'VG' but it is certainly very nice, indeed. The cover has no writing or tears & only exhibits a little minor discolouring creeping in around the edges. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & plays a beaut. Visually speaking, there are a couple of faint paper hairline scuffs & some light spindle marks by the centre hole to show play, but these are rendered purely cosmetic as there is no effect on play.
