THE CHEQUERS Check Us Out (Rare 1976 first issue 10-track LP on
the Creole graduated label with A1/B1 matrices. The first and only
album by the funk/disco band formed in Aylesbury, UK, by brothers
John & Richard Mathias featuring a version of the Bob Marley and
Peter Tosh penned Get Up Stand Up. The front laminated Garrod
& Lofthouse picture sleeve is showing a just a little ringwear or
marking mainly noticeable to the unlaminated off-white back panel
alogn with a tiny bit of top edge wear and a little corner wear but this
is all minor and all text is legible with no tears or rips and a beautifully
intact near poerfect spine. The labels have only one or two minor
spindle rubs but look bright and clean, the disc itself has only a few
very light hairlines to show just light use, barely played copy of this
first found, scarce slice of reggae inspired UK disco funk! CRLP504)
