THE GOLLIWOGS Fragile Child (Very rare 1966 UK 'A' label
demonstration vinyl 7" for the single release, on the red Vocalion label
with an intact four prong centre, also including Fight Fire. One of only a
handful of '45s released by the band, who would go on to be known as
Creedence Clearwater Revival, by the time of the official release the
A&B sides were switched, whilst Fragile Child is a clear forerunner of
the CCR sound, the B-Side is a more garage flavoured stomper and
comes highly recommended. The vinyl is graded VG with some light
hairlines/scuffs visible, but nothing too excessive, play testing reveals
no great loss in fidelity. A fantastic example and the first copy we've

changed their name to Creedence Clearwater Revival & 'Choogled' into
history. This collection gathers together their 7 singles for the Fantasy
& Scorpio labels, originally released between November 1964 and
November 1967. The vintage stickered picture sleeve shows some
edgewear & minor discolouration on the back, but the vinyl looks
unplayed - a great copy!)
