THE OUTLAWS Dream Of The West (Rare original 1961 UK 'Nipper'
label 12-track mono LP, the group's first album full of original
compositions by British songwriter Robert Duke, actually one of Joe
Meek's many pseudonyms, with additional sleeve notes from Britain's
favourite eccentric producer of the sixties. The front laminated sleeve
has very little sign of its age other than a very faint age speckling to
the reverse. The more eagle eyed amongst you will spot a very fresh
faced ChasHodges from Chas and Dave in the group photo on the
back. The vinyl too, whilst obviously played & showing light surface
marks, plays through without fault & thanks to the quality pressing,
the effect is minimised & most are simply cosmetic. All in all, a very
respectable VG copy of this rare UK original CLP1489)
