INXS have sold over 30 million albums worldwide on the back of 'Stonesy Pop Funk' and the enigmatic charisma of lead singer Michael Hutchence's. In 1980, they released their debut album and soon landed landing an American deal and began an extensive tour which introduced them to a bigger audience. Mainstream success eluded them until they released 'Listen Like Thieves' which laid the groundwork for 'Kick', the album that made INXS multi million selling international superstars. The follow-up 'X', appeared in 1990 to mostly negative reviews and poor sales, despite spawning three hit singles. With the exception of 'Live Baby Live' the next few albums were largely ignored. After the tragic death of Michael Hutchence, they made a number of live appearances with a guest singers including Terence Trent D'arby. The band has since launched a search for a new singer on a reality TV show which will cover 20 cities over 6 continents.
