This copy has been FULLY AUTOGRAPHED by the entire band of Eric, Greg Phillinganes, Nathan East & Steve Ferrone. As if this wasn't enough, this unique programme has also been autographed by Phil Collins, George Harrison & Mark Knopfler! These signatures were obtained by Colin Smythe. For many years Colin was Eric Clapton's assistant tour manager, working on many of his 1980s concerts & tours. On August 26th 1990, Clapton played the Alpine Valley Music Theatre, Wisconsin, alongside Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, Robert Cray and Buddy Guy. Following the show Colin Smythe, along with Clapton's agent Bobby Brooks, his bodyguard Nigel Browne and Stevie Ray Vaughan boarded a helicopter bound for Chicago. Tragically, the helicopter crashed shortly after take-off, killing all on board. Along with sponsor adverts, there are also mini biographies & portrait pictures of the other artists on the bill, including Joan Armatrading, Labi Siffre, Brenda Fassie, Sipho Mabuse & several other native African musical performers. This programme comes from thecollection of Yukiko Smythe. For many years Yukiko's husband, Colin Smythe, was Eric Clapton's assistant tour manager. On August 27th 1990 Colin, along with Clapton's agent Bobby Brooks, his bodyguard Nigel Browne and Stevie Ray Vaughan boarded a helicopter bound for Chicago. Tragically, the helicopter crashed shortly after take-off, killing all on board.
