released to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the launch of
the Invictus, Hot Wax & Music Merchant labels – the trio of
labels that Brian Holland, Lamont Dozier & Eddie Holland
launched following their acrimonious split from Berry Gordy’s
Motown Empire. Comprises every single 45 release from the
labels: both A & B sides. That’s NINETY SIX Invictus 45s,
FORTY FOUR Hot Wax 45s and SEVENTEEN Music Merchant 45s
= 157 singles & 269 original recordings in total. Amongst the
16 bonus tracks are legendary unreleased singles & a number
of extremely rare acetate recordings, as well as 3 previously
unreleased Tom Moulton remixes. The fourteen discs are
housed within the lavish 10.5" x 6.5" book pack complete with
the 80-page booklet containing archive photos, extensive
