SEX PISTOLS God Save The Queen (Extremely rare 1977 UK 40" x 27" instore display poster for the single release featuring Jamie Reid's iconic artwork. This poster is complete with the near impossible to find 12" x 40" text banner, designed to accompany the poster as part of an instore display. This fabulous piece of history is fully original and not a modern repro, & were obtained together from a private sale & safely stored rolled ever since. It is very rare indeed that a completepairing of poster & banner become available on the market as most were ripped from wall displays many eons ago. This poster is in Very Good condition forty years on with a light ripple effect throughout, unbacked with no pinholes or writing. There is some faint paper wear but nothing that upsets the print & only minor indentations, the odd small fold & crease mark around the edge, all of which adds great character to the piece & tells you this is the real deal. The banner is also exceptionally nice, with the same ripple effect throughout, a tiny thumbnail tear in the top left corner & no writing or pinholes. The banner piece completes the pair & shows just the odd faint mark to the paper not affecting the design. Both posters look amazing as a pair & show just minor signs of their past use.
