THE ART ATTACKS Punk Rock Stars (UK 2-track 7" vinyl single, a
scarce early 80s 2nd press of the legendary punk rockers' 2nd and
last single, originally released posthumously in 1979 - 'Rat City' was
one of their very first recordings made in May 1977 [featuring future
Wire drummer Robert Gotobed on the traps], while 'Punk Rock Stars'
was their final recording made in early '78 [hence the 'First And Last'
reference on the 1st pressing's original picture sleeve]. Both cuts are
superb additions to anyone's UK punk collection, imbued with a sense
of chaos and fun - this lot clearly didn't take themselves too seriously
['I Am A Dalek', anyone?]; plain die-cut sleeve)
