The poster is folded in its orignal state with some minor creases but has not been displayed. The sleeve shows just a little minor general wear with tiny papertear to front corner and minor edge rubbing but is otherwise well-preserved with the artwork bright & clear. The inside of the gatefold is bright and vivid with all the images & text bold and clear. This third album by the band offers up a wonderfully bleak brand of prog rock featuring solid bass from Nic Potter [The Misunderstood], twisted Hammond organ riffs a-plenty from Hugh Banton, wonderfully skronky, aggressive sax from David Jackson all coupled with the anguished lyrics and vocal delivery from Mr Hammill himself. The gatefold sleeve shows light scuffing along all edges and a few areas of print fade with otherwise bright colours and clearly legible text. There is also a little creasing to the inside of the gatefold. The vinyl shows light signs of play with only small cosmetic blemishes which are minor and have no real impact on play, there is a little mottling to the labels and a small annotated name on side A - otherwise an excellent copy of this increasingly hard to find album!
