WIMPLE WINCH Rumble On Mersey Square South (Very rare
[and highly sought-after] slice of Brit-psych/freakbeat, this is
the original 1967 UK mono 7" vinyl single with intact three-prong
centre, die-cut company sleeve. This short-lived Stockport based
psychedelic five-piece recorded just three stand-alone singles in
their brief career and, unlike many other 'lost classics' which
often disappoint, this comes on like the Who having a dust-up
with the Zombies [yes, really that good!], it'swell written with
great vocal harmonies/arrangement, not too mention the
thunderous drums and super-fuzzed-up guitar!! Backed up with
the equally impressive 'Typical British Workmanship', both sides
have been on countless compilations, including those seminal
early '80s Phil Smee/Bam Caruso collections - now's your chance
to own the original. The vinyl grades VG+/EX- with just a few
light hairlines visible, this is the first copy we've ever had too!

WIMPLE WINCH What's Been Done (Very rare [and highly
sought-after] slice of Brit-psych/freakbeat, this is the original 1966 UK
mono 7" vinyl single with intact three-prong centre, backed with I
Really Love You, die-cut company sleeve. This is the debut '45 from
the short-lived Stockport based freakbeat/psych pioneers and it's a
revved-up, bass-heavy groover with hard-hitting drums. The band
were criminally overlooked at the time and it wasn't until they were
compiled on the seminal early '80s Phil Smee/Bam Caruso collections
that people got to hear how good they were - now's your chance to
own an original. The vinyl is in Excellent condition with very light signs
of play only, this is the first copy we've ever had too! TF686)
