THE MOTHERS Just Another Band From L.A. (Super rare 1972 test pressing for the Japanese Reprise issue of the 5-track vinyl LP recorded live at the Pauley Pavilion, Los Angeles on 7th August 1971; white labels stamped on the A-side with Japanese characters and catalogue number. Housed in the gatefold picture sleeve for the commercial release complete with 4-page Japanese text biography/lyric insert and original obi-strip. Japanese test pressings from this era seldom appear for sale, this is a particularly fine example - the sleeve, insert and obi-strip all show only a little light wear consistent with age and the vinyl looks unplayed, retaining a glorious 'just pressed' lustre!
