GRAHAM BOND Solid Bond (2008 issue UK 12-track CD album [previously unreleased on CD] - Originally released in 1970, 'A Solid Bond' features an assortment of '60s material which remains unavailable on any other release. Nine of the 12 tracks datefrom 1966, with Bond accompanied by Dick Heckstall-Smith on sax & Jon Hiseman on drums. This material is solid jazzy R&B with the aura of faint menace unique to Bond's mid-'60s work. The three remaining tracks were recorded in 1963 with Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker, Heckstall-Smith, and one of the first on-record appearances by guitarist John McLaughlin)
