DONALD BYRD Electric Byrd (Rare 1970 US Blue Note 4-track stereo vinyl LP produced by Duke Pearson - original Van Gelder pressing with 'Division Of Liberty Records' label text. Features Airto Moreira on percussion lending a Brazilian-tinged feelin places that predates his involvement with Return To Forever. There is a strong Bitches Brew influence to the whole LP which is unmistakable yet not necessarily a bad thing. What is produced is rather beautiful; a drifting, jarring, electricsoundwash of high-quality fusion music, not to be missed. Pasted picture sleeve is in excellent shape as it remains in the original shrink; the vinyl looks barely played! BST84349)
