VARIOUS A Perfumed Garden Volume 2 (2002 UK 17-track CD album - back in the early 80s, along with the 'Rubble' and 'Chocolate Soup' series, 'Perfumed Garden' was one of the first comps to tackle obscure and rare 60s UK psych & freakbeat [as opposed to the US garage being mined by 'Pebbles', 'Boulders', 'Mindrockers' etc]; Volume 2 is packed with gems such as The Uglies' £1500-rated '69 single, 'I See The Light', The In-Be-Tweens' 'You Better Run' [the first commercial domestic releasefrom Slade!] from 1966 and The Eyes' 1965 pop-art masterpiece 'When The Night Falls', plus 3 bonus recordings, including the pre-Open Mind Drag Set and Fleur de Lys' 1966 mod-crunch follow-up to 'Circles', 'Mud In Your Eye')
